Review | Shiseido Purness Line

Deep Cleansing Foam:

This claims to be an ultra-fresh foaming cleanser with purifying granules that effectively remove pore-clogging impurities, makeup and oil that can lead to imperfections. Feels gentle and cool as it works to control blemishes and excess oil. NON-COMEDOGENIC.

I’ve been using this cleanser for nearly a year now, and I got it because it says that it’s supposed to help with oil control.
Now, I’m not really sure if this is the cleanser for you if you’re really oily and are looking for a mattifying cleanser, but this will make it take a few hours longer before your oils start to show through.
And I can’t really say anything about the blemish-control claim, because I don’t really have that much trouble with my skin, so I would keep that in mind.
With that said, this is a creamy cleanser that feels really smooth when you use it, and my skin feels so smooth and clean after.
It also lasts me a long time, because you don’t really need much of this

. So if you have combination-to-oily skin I would give this a try.

Refreshing Cleansing Water:

This claims to be a  gentle wipe-off cleanser to remove impurities, makeup and excess oil that can clog pores and lead to imperfections. As well as cleansing, it maintains the skin´s natural balance leaving it refreshed and calm and feeling dewy and comfortable balanced formulation. Oil-free. Alcohol-free. NON-COMEDOGENIC.

I’ve been using this after my cleanser, kind of like a toner, and I really do like it.
This feels cool and refreshing, and it removes any residue from my cleanser, and the makeup that my cleanser didn’t.
It’s also really nice for those days when you don’t have time to go through all the steps in your skincare rutine.
This is oil-free, so it’s perfect for us oily people out there.

Matifying Moisturizer Oil-free:

This claims to be a lightweight moisturizer, with oil-absorbing powder, that helps reduce surface shine as it provides exceptional hydration to skin. Feels refreshing and ultra-sheer. Promote a smooth texture. Non-Comedogenic. Dermatologist tested.

So, I only use in my t-zone area, because it does get a little too dry for me all over my face, but if you do have oily skin all over I would think that this would work for you.
However, for me this is not a mattifying product, it does help control my oils a little bit, but I wouldn’t go as far as saying that it’s oil-absorbing throughout the day.

Moisturizing Gel-Cream:

This claims to be a lightweight creamy-gel that instantly moisturises, softens and refines skin as it promotes a healthy-looking radiance. It locks in moisture, leaving the skin feeling dewy fresh throughout the day. Increases skin’s smoothness and ability to maintain moisture. Non-Comedogenic. Dermatologist tested.

I find that this is simular to the oil-free moisturizer, but it’s not oil-absorbing, so I think that this is better for combination to normal skin.
Because I get really oily in my t-zone, I only this this on the other parts of my face, and this makes my skin look so smooth and hydrated. It also makes my skin feel really soft, so I would definitely recommend this.
