Review | MAC Pro Longwear Foundation:
This claims to be a comfortable, long-wearing foundation that gives medium coverage with a natural matte finish and up to 15 hours of wear in any environmental condition. Lightweight and creamy, it applies and blends easily leaving the skin feeling soft and free to breathe all day while controlling oil. Specially treated micronized pigments help give a smoother, more flawless, natural matte finish with stay-true colour.
Now, when I first got this I was kind of scared to try it, because I’ve heard so many times that MAC foundations, most of the time, break people out, but I needed a mattifying foundation that would last all day, so I bit the bullet and I love this so so much.
This doesn’t break me out, or irritate my skin at all, and it does keep me from getting super oily.
However, some of my oils does show through after a few hours of wear, but not in a bad way.
So I’m not sure that I would say that this is a matt/oil controlling foundation, because on me it’s more of a demi-matt finish/kind of dewy, but still not in a bad way, and I don’t really have to touch up throughout the day.
But regardless of my oily skin, this foundation stays the same all day, it doesn’t fade on me at all, and it doesn’t get cakey.
You can also build up the coverage where you need that.
With that said, I don’t know if this would work as good for dry skin, but it claims to be for all skin types, so you could go to your MAC counter and get a sample if you’re not completly sure.
This is available in 23 shades and I got mine from Kicks for 280nok.
