Review | E.L.F Studio Powder Blush Palette

Blush palette

This is what it says on the E.L.F website:
This beautiful blush palette holds 4 gorgeous shades to mix and match throughout the year for a custom blended color. Great for contouring, shading, sculpting, and highlighting, these silky smooth blushes create a beautiful pigmented glow. With a mixture of complimentary matte and shimmer finishes, you can achieve a professional look every time.

So, I’ve heard about these palettes for quite some time, but for some reason E.L.F has stopped doing international shipping (I used to be able to order from their website a few years ago), so it’s been a struggle to get my hands on these, but I finally found them in a store in Sweeden, so I thought I’d give them a try too see what all the hype is about.

Now, as you can see in the swatches these are very pigmented blushes, so I was a bit scared to try them, thinking they would be too pigmented, but if you just barley tap your brush in there, you will get a light wash of color to your cheeks, so they’re not as scary as they may seem.

As far as application goes I do think that these are very easy to work with, they blend nicely and they don’t look powdery or cakey on the skin, and they do also last all day without fading unevenly, or looking patchy.
So, in all honesty, I would never guess that these are so inexpencive, because they are very high in quality.

And I also like that they have 2 palettes, one that suits light complexions and one that’s better for deeper complexions.
Now, you could use both no matter what skintone you have, you just might have to sheer it out, or build it up a bit more depending on how light/deep you are, but they do work for everybody.
You could also mix and match to get your perfect shade of blush, so the options are endless with these.

However, when you first look at these it does seem like you get 3 matte shades on one shimmer shade, but I don’t really think that the shimmery one looks shimmery on the skin, so I would say that they all have a matte finish, but if you’re more into shimmery blushes you could use a shimmery blush topper, or even a light dusting of highlight on top to costumize them to your liking.

So overall I think that these are great blushes, especially for the price, so I would highly recommend these.

I got mine from Lyko for 109sek a piece.
