Review | NEW Milani Retouch+Erase Light-Lifting Concealer
This is what it says on the Milani website:
Retouch + Erase Light-Lifting Concealer instantly erases the look of dark circles, spots, blemishes and imperfections with an added face brightening effect. Achieve flawless color correction through light technology—like a face-perfecting filter with a smooth, undetectable finish. A mess-proof cushion tip applicator blends the lightweight, full coverage formula over skin easily without creasing or settling into fine lines.
So, I’ve been watching Nicole from “Yound, Wild and Polished” on youtube rave about this concealer for a little while now, so when I came across it online, I just had to order it, and I have to say that I’m quite impressed with it so far.
Now, for me I haven’t really found a concealer that provides enough coverage to cover my dark circles on its own, because most of those ‘full coverage’ concealers that I’ve tried are more medium coverage to me, and this is no different, but I don’t find that it disrupts my corrector that I use underneath like other concealers sometimes does, so I do give it a few extra points for that.
I also like this concealer for the fact that it is so easy to work with.
It does blend out beautifully, and it doesn’t settle in to fine lines, or crease throughout the day. I also find that I don’t need to use a lot of powder to set it, because it does set alot on it’s own, so it does look quite natural on the skin which I like.
And even though it is a little bit thicker in consistency, it doesn’t look heavy, at least not on my skin, and I do also build it up sometimes, depending on how much sleep I’ve gotten, so I will say that it is buildable too.
Now, when it comes to the applicator, on the other hand, I don’t like it.
It’s just not sanitary enough for me, but I just squeeze a little bit of the concealer out on a tray or a plate of some kind, and then I use my fingers or a brush to apply it before I blend it out with a sponge, and I just think that that’s a better, more sanitary way (for me) to apply it.
But, over all I do really like this concealer.
Because it does look beautiful on the skin and it lasts until i choose to take it off, so I don’t really think you can go too wrong with it.
I got mine from Eleven for 170nok.
