So, I’ve heard a lot about the Physicians Formula blushes and bronzer for a long time, and I was browsing online for new blushes when I came across these, so I got a few of them, and I might just get a few more.
Now, first things first, all of these were marketed as blushes, but the shade “natural glow” is a straight up highlighter in my oppinion. Now, it didn’t look like a highlighter on the Physicians Formula website, so I don’t know if I’ve got a wrong one, but it does have the same name, and it does say that it’s a blush on the packaging, so I’m a bit disappointed with that.
But it does work as a very natural highlight/blush topper sort of a thing, so I still get some use out of it.
However, the other two blushes I got are very beautiful. They both are quite pigmented, so I do apply them with a light hand, but they’re both very easy to blend out, so you can tone them down a little if you apply them a little too heavy handed. But I would recommend that you just apply a little bit at a time.
Now, when it comes to the lasting power on these I do find that the blushes last about 8 hours, but they do fade a little after 6 or so. But the highlight fades completly on me, so I would stick to the actual blushes, and skip the “hightlight” if you’re interested in trying these.
But, overall I do really like them, and they’re not too expencive, so I don’t think you can go wrong with them.
The only thing that might be a drawback for some of you is that they have a very strong coconut-summer-ish scent to them, so if you’re sensitive about scented makeup I might not go for these, but if you don’t mind, I think these are absolutly worth a go.
Have you tried these? What did you think about them?
These are available on PhysiciansFormula.com for $13.49.
